How do I get free Speed in Steal An Egg?
Does the treadmill work while AFK?
Are trails better than treadmill upgrades?
Can Robux packs get me to Cherry Blossom?
Why is Speed the most important stat?
Speed gates which biomes you can enter and whether you escape the guardian after grabbing an egg. Every biome sign lists a minimum; you want roughly double that before farming its top eggs, because heavy eggs slow you down. Money exists to buy Speed, and Speed exists to reach better eggs.
What is the fastest free Speed?
The Free Gift. Like the game, favorite it, and join the and Collect Rare Pets group, then claim the gift in-game for 10,000 Speed immediately. That is more Speed than the Lake (900) and Desert (10K) gates combined and it is available from your first minute. There is no code system, so this is the only freebie — see the codes page.
How does the treadmill work?
Spend $1,000 on the garden upgrade at your base to unlock the treadmill. Standing on it builds Speed continuously, and it keeps working while you are AFK, so leave your character on it whenever you are not stealing. Each treadmill upgrade raises the Speed gained per second; early levels are cheap and worth buying immediately.
What are trails and why do they matter?
Trails are cosmetic effects from the Trail Shop that each carry a direct Speed multiplier, ranging from Common to Divine rarity. Stacked, they reach around x14. Because a multiplier scales with everything else you have, trails become far more valuable per dollar than late treadmill levels — from Jungle (40K) onward they should be your main Speed purchase.
Are the Robux speed packs worth it?
They are optional. Packs range from about +150K to +1B Speed. The largest still stops short of the 2.5B Cherry Blossom gate, so paying does not skip the end game. If you do buy one, buy it when you are stuck at a gate rather than early, when the treadmill alone closes the gap quickly.
What Speed do I need for each biome?
| Biome | Gate | Comfortable farming target |
|---|---|---|
| Forest | 0 | — |
| Lake | 900 | 2K |
| Desert | 10K | 20K |
| Jungle | 40K | 80K |
| Snow | 170K | 350K |
| Volcano | 700K | 1.4M |
| Abyss Ocean | 2.5M | 5M |
| Prehistoric | 18M | 36M |
| Cosmic | 700M | 1.4B |
| Cherry Blossom | 2.5B | 5B |
| Titan Temple | 7.5B (recommended) | — |
What is the recommended Speed order?
- Claim the Free Gift (10,000).
- Buy the garden upgrade, then the first few treadmill levels.
- Farm Desert and Jungle for money; hatch every mutated egg you see (see mutations).
- Switch spending to trails once Jungle is comfortable.
- Use night cycles and events for passive gains, and AFK on the treadmill between sessions.
When Speed lets you into a new zone, learn its guardian before farming — the escape routine is in the stealing guide.
