FAQ

How do I measure my treadmill gain per second?
Stand on the treadmill, note the Speed counter, wait 10 seconds, note it again. Subtract and divide by 10. Re-measure after every treadmill upgrade.
Where do I enter trails?
In the trail multiplier box. Trails multiply your Speed stat; the tool multiplies both your current Speed and your gain rate by it. Leave it at 1 if you have none.
Why does the table show a 2× column?
Meeting the gate lets you in, but heavy eggs cut carry speed and the guardian catches you. The community rule of thumb is to farm a biome at about double its gate.
Are the gate values exact?
They match the in-game biome signs as of the last check (Lake 900, Desert 10K, Jungle 40K, Snow 170K, Volcano 700K, Abyss 2.5M, Prehistoric 18M, Cosmic 700M, Cherry Blossom 2.5B, Titan Temple 7.5B). Patches can move them — trust the sign.

When will the next biome unlock?

Type your current Speed and how much the treadmill adds per second. The table fills in with the time until each gate and the time until the comfortable 2× target from the speed guide.

Speed & biome unlock planner

Measure your treadmill gain: note the Speed counter, wait 10 seconds, note it again, divide the difference by 10.

effective Speed (× trail)
effective gain per hour
Biome Gate Time to gate Time to 2× (comfortable)
Lake
Desert
Jungle
Snow
Volcano
Abyss Ocean
Prehistoric
Cosmic
Cherry Blossom
Titan Temple

What is the formula?

effective Speed = trained Speed × trail multiplier
Speed still needed = (gate − effective Speed) ÷ trail multiplier
time to gate = Speed still needed ÷ gain per second

The trail multiplier is applied once to your stat, so the tool divides it back out to work out how much raw training remains. Gain per second assumes you stay on the treadmill the whole time; log off and the clock pauses.

How should I read the two columns?

  • Time to gate — the earliest you can walk in. Fine for looking around, risky for carrying the biome’s heavy eggs.
  • Time to 2× — when you can farm the zone’s top eggs and still outrun the guardian. This is the number to plan around.

Gates, guardians and what each zone drops are on the biomes page. If the 2× column for your next biome reads in days, buy trails before treadmill levels — a multiplier scales everything you already have.

Is buying Speed worth it?

Run the planner twice: once with your real numbers, once with the pack’s Speed added to “current”. The difference in the 2× column is exactly what the purchase buys you in hours. Compare that with the coins-per-hour from the income calculator to decide whether farming a lower biome for longer gets you there anyway. New to the treadmill?
