What do the rarity tiers mean?
Rarity is the label on every egg and pet that tells you its base income band and how often it spawns. The eight tiers run Common → Uncommon → Rare → Epic → Legendary → Mythic → Cosmic → Secret, and each step roughly multiplies base income while dividing spawn frequency. Divine is a one-off tier for the Unicorn in the Cosmic biome.
| Tier | Colour cue | Spawn frequency | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Common | Grey / white | Constant | Forest starter pets |
| Uncommon | Green | Frequent | First step up from Forest |
| Rare | Blue | Regular | Backbone of Lake and Desert |
| Epic | Purple | Occasional | Desert / Jungle mid-tier |
| Legendary | Orange / gold | Timed spawns | Jungle, Volcano headline pets |
| Mythic | Red / pink | Five-minute cycle | First serious income jump |
| Cosmic | Galaxy | Rare cycle | $1M+/s pets |
| Secret | Announced in chat | Very rare | Highest earner per biome |
| Divine | Unique | Cosmic boss zone | Unicorn only |
How does rarity affect income?
Rarity fixes the base value; everything else multiplies it. A Forest Common earns $1–$50/s, a Jungle Mythic around $22K/s, and a Volcano Secret like Cerberus $8M/s. Because the jumps are exponential, one pet from the next tier usually outpaces a whole Pen of the tier below — which is why pushing Speed to the next biome matters more than filling slots.
How do size and mutations stack with rarity?
Size (up to Huge) and mutations are separate attributes that both apply to the rarity base. A pet can be Huge and Rainbow at the same time, and both bonuses multiply independently. This is the reason a mutated Common can beat a plain Rare: 2.5x from Rainbow on top of a Huge roll closes a full tier gap.
How do I tell an egg’s rarity before stealing it?
The nest label and the egg’s shell colour show the tier before you pick it up, and mutated shells show a distinct Silver, Golden or Rainbow tint. Rare and above run on a confirmed five-minute spawn cycle, so if a nest is empty, note the time and come back. Secret eggs are broadcast in chat when they appear — everyone on the server races for them.
Is it worth fusing lower-rarity pets?
Fusing three identical pets in the Fuse Machine produces one pet of the next tier that earns more than the three originals combined, so yes for un-mutated duplicates. Do not fuse a mutated pet with plain copies — the mutation can be lost. The full rules are in the fuse machine guide, and per-pet values are on the all pets list.
