FAQ

Why do I have to type the fused result?
The output income depends on the pet and tier, and the game shows it in the fuse preview before you confirm. Reading it from the game is more accurate than any formula this site could guess.
What if I leave the result blank?
You still get fuses possible and slots freed. The income comparison needs both $/s numbers.
Does the tool ever recommend fusing a mutated pet?
No. Mutated copies are excluded from the fuse count and it warns you if a fuse would need one. Mutations can be lost in the machine.
Is fusing always a gain?
Per slot, almost always: the result beats three inputs combined. But if your Pen has free slots, three equipped copies may earn more than one fused pet plus two empty slots — the tool shows both numbers.

Should I fuse this stack?

Open the Fuse Machine, select the pet, and read the result’s $/s from the preview. Enter it here with how many copies you own and what one copy earns.

Fuse or keep calculator

Open the Fuse Machine in-game and read the result's $/s from the preview — that number is the only one the tool cannot know for you.

fuses possible
Pen slots freed
income before (all copies equipped)
income after fusing

What is the formula?

fuses possible = floor(plain copies ÷ 3)
slots freed = fuses × 2
income before = one copy $/s × copies owned
income after = fused $/s × fuses + one copy $/s × leftover copies

Only plain copies count toward a fuse; mutated ones are held back. The verdict compares before and after, and also shows income per slot, which is what matters when your Pen is full. How the machine itself works is in the fuse machine guide.

When does “keep” win?

Two cases:

  1. You have empty slots. Three copies equipped beat one fused pet if the fused income is below 3× a single copy. The “income after” number shows this directly.
  2. The result would sit on the bench. If the fused pet still does not clear your weakest equipped pet, fusing only helps if you needed the free slots. Check the cut line in the Pen slot optimizer.

What about the pet index?

Fusing consumes the inputs. Make sure at least one copy of any limited-time pet has been recorded before you feed the stack in — index rewards are free, and event pets do not return. Base values for comparison are on the all pets list.
