FAQ

How long do eggs take to hatch in Steal An Egg?
It depends on the egg. Low-tier eggs take seconds to minutes, while Secret, Eternal and Divine eggs take hours; the Titan Temple Nightflame is reported at a 16-hour base timer. Size and boosts change it too, so read the timer on the egg in game.
Do eggs keep growing while I am offline?
Yes. Egg timers keep running while you are logged out, so a long batch started before bed can be ready in the morning. The calculator assumes the timer runs the whole time.
Why does it start the longest eggs first?
Starting long eggs first and filling gaps with short ones finishes a mixed batch sooner than most other orders. It is also the easiest rule to follow in game.
I already own X2 Growth Speed. What do I enter?
Enter the timers exactly as the game shows them and tick the box. The last result card then shows how long the batch would take without the pass.

When will my eggs finish?

Add one row per egg type: how many you have and the timer shown on the egg. Set how many eggs your base grows at the same time. If you already own the growth pass, tick the box so the comparison runs the other way.

One row per egg type. Type the timer the game shows: 45s, 25m, 2h 30m or 16h all work (a bare number means minutes).

How is the finish time worked out?

Each egg goes into the first free growing spot, longest timer first:

1. list every egg with its timer
2. sort from longest to shortest
3. put each egg into the spot that frees up first
4. finish time = the busiest spot's total

With one growing spot this is simply the sum of all timers. With several, long eggs run side by side and short eggs fill the gaps. The done at card adds the result to your current local time.

How do I hatch a batch faster?

  • Start long eggs before you log off. Timers keep running offline, so an overnight batch costs you no play time.
  • Fill empty spots. The verdict tells you when spots sit empty; a few quick low-tier eggs make use of them.
  • X2 Growth Speed. The pass halves every timer. Whether that is worth 467 Robux depends on how much you hatch — run the gamepass calculator.
  • Plan big hauls. After an Admin Abuse session you may bank more eggs than you can grow at once. Enter the whole haul here to see how many waves it takes before you decide what to keep.

What next after hatching?

Put the new pets through the Pen slot optimizer to see which make the cut, and fuse the duplicates with the fuse calculator. For rare eggs you still need to steal, time your run with the egg spawn timer.
